Mil-Rights is a free, offline reference guide. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. This policy explains the minimal data the app stores on your device and how it is used.
The app stores two items in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never sent anywhere:
mil-favs) — a list of topic IDs you have bookmarked.mil-profile) — your optional status, branch, and rank selections used to filter topics. You can delete this data at any time by using "Clear Profile" in the app, removing saved topics, or clearing your browser or app data.
Each topic links to an official U.S. government website (e.g., uscis.gov, va.gov, dfas.mil). When you tap "Go to Official Page," you leave Mil-Rights and are subject to that site's own privacy policy. We have no control over and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.
Mil-Rights does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal data at all, there is no special risk for children using the app.
If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, you can reach us through our GitHub repository.
